Florence Healthcare announced at the 2026 DIA Global Annual Meeting that it has enabled Model Context Protocol access across its clinical operations platform, allowing AI agents to interact with workflows at more than 65,000 research sites and 30,000 active protocols.

Florence Healthcare announced in a press release at the 2026 DIA Global Annual Meeting that it has enabled Model Context Protocol (MCP) access across its full suite of applications. The update allows AI agents to interact directly with Florence’s network of 65,000 research sites and 30,000 active protocols.

The new infrastructure includes an MCP server and dedicated SDKs, enabling sponsor and site AI agents to securely query, analyze, and act on clinical trial data. The system is compatible with popular AI assistants such as Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, as well as custom-built agents.

Florence demonstrated an AI-driven “Trial Intelligence” workflow where coordinators can manage studies through natural language queries. The agent can identify missing documents, detect skipped tasks, and summarize study progress in real time.

The company stated that global sponsors using its platform can now deploy custom agents to monitor site performance, predict enrollment risks, and automate document reconciliation across large trial networks.
