FireDome Demonstrates Autonomous Wildfire Resilience System
FireDome has completed the first real-world demonstration of its autonomous wildfire resilience system, announced in a press release. The field test showed the system’s ability to automatically detect and suppress spot fires using smart capsules that deploy water or eco-friendly retardant with precision.
The demonstration in Tel Aviv featured several operational capabilities, including real-time rotation and targeting, mid-air capsule activation, and automated firebreak creation. The system’s AI algorithms detected and classified threats, prioritizing responses while ensuring safety for people and vehicles nearby.
The company describes its approach as “Wildfire Resilience-as-a-Service,” integrating detection, decision-making, and suppression in a single platform. FireDome plans to begin installations in the United States in 2026, working with property owners, utilities, and insurers in wildfire-prone areas.
