Federated Hermes survey finds 56% of advisors view AI as an opportunity
Nearly half of financial advisors identified better use of technology to reach more clients or improve engagement as their top business concern, Federated Hermes said in a press release. The survey found that 56% view artificial intelligence as an opportunity, while 8% consider it a threat.
Seventy percent expect AI to improve practice efficiency. Another 61% expect it to provide more time for client engagement or business development, while more than half want additional education and support from asset managers on integrating AI.
The online survey covered 300 US financial advisors who each oversee at least $25 million in client assets. It was conducted from June 16 to July 6, 2026, with a margin of error of plus or minus 5.7 percentage points.
