Element Fleet Management has entered a multi-year partnership with Waymo to provide fleet management and operational support for autonomous vehicles, starting in San Diego and expanding to more markets.

Element Fleet Management has announced a multi-year partnership with Waymo to provide fleet management and operational support for autonomous vehicle deployments, according to a press release.

The collaboration, established through Element Mobility, will begin with an initial rollout in San Diego and expand to additional markets. Element will deliver services including vehicle lifecycle management, charging infrastructure, energy management, maintenance coordination, and operational optimization to ensure reliable fleet performance.

Waymo will continue to manage the validation and performance of its autonomous driving system, while Element focuses on operational readiness and infrastructure support. The partnership is designed to enable Waymo to scale its autonomous ride-hailing operations efficiently across multiple regions.
