Bolt Selects NVIDIA Alpamayo for European Autonomous Vehicle Program
Bolt selects NVIDIA Alpamayo Stack for its European autonomous vehicle program with Lucid, advancing its plan to deploy at least 25,000 vehicles across Europe, the company announced in a press release.
The program will begin in Madrid in 2027, subject to regulatory approval. Lucid vehicles will initially collect driving data to support testing and validation, while Germany and France are identified as potential future markets.
The vehicles will combine NVIDIA Hyperion hardware with Alpamayo driving software and NVIDIA Halos safety capabilities. Bolt and NVIDIA will adapt the system for European roads and integrate it with vehicles from multiple manufacturers, starting with Lucid.
Bolt plans to operate 100,000 autonomous vehicles across Europe and the wider UNECE region by 2035.
