Ebix Launches A.D.A.M. Medical Coding Platform

Ebix introduced the A.D.A.M. Medical Coding Platform for healthcare organizations and content partners, along with new automated workflows for health education content.

Ebix announced in a press release the launch of the A.D.A.M. Medical Coding Platform for healthcare organizations and content partners, along with new production and delivery capabilities for its Health Content and Wellness business. The platform uses automated coding with expert review to map health content to ICD-10 and LOINC.

Ebix said the platform can process thousands of articles per day and structure coded content for electronic health records, patient portals, and digital health platforms. The company said the platform can be used in different markets subject to local coding conventions, language needs, and implementation standards.

Ebix also launched automated production workflows for physician developed educational programs. A new media platform powered by AI can convert one educational program into audio, video, transcripts, and shorter topic segments for physicians across more than 25 specialties.

The company said accredited educational content will continue to be developed under physician leadership and reviewed by qualified physician faculty before publication.
