Descartes Systems Group Acquires Chilean Delivery Platform Drivin for $30 Million

Descartes Systems Group has acquired Santiago-based delivery management company Drivin for around $30 million in cash, uniting its Latin American last mile logistics data with the Descartes Global Logistics Network.

Descartes Systems Group has acquired Drivin, a Santiago-based provider of last mile delivery management solutions, announced in a press release. The transaction combines Drivin’s Latin American transportation management platform with the Descartes Global Logistics Network.

Drivin offers a cloud platform used by distributors, retailers, and logistics providers to improve delivery performance through route optimization, dispatch management, and real time execution visibility. Its system is supported by machine learning and agentic AI capabilities, primarily serving dense urban markets across Latin America.

The acquisition will integrate Drivin’s logistics data and operational metadata with Descartes’ network. This combination is intended to strengthen predictive analytics, route planning, and fleet performance capabilities for distribution-focused businesses worldwide.

Descartes paid approximately $30 million in upfront cash, with up to $5 million in possible additional performance-based consideration. Crestone Advisors served as the exclusive financial and strategic advisor to Drivin during the transaction.
