CoolIT Unveils 4000W Coldplate for Advanced Liquid Cooling

CoolIT Systems has announced a new 4000W-ready single-phase direct liquid cooling coldplate, significantly enhancing cooling capabilities for high-performance computing.

CoolIT Systems has announced a breakthrough in liquid cooling technology with the introduction of a 4000W-ready single-phase direct liquid cooling (DLC) coldplate, announced in a press release. This new coldplate more than doubles the previously accepted limits of single-phase DLC, positioning CoolIT as a leader in the field.

The 4000W coldplate utilizes CoolIT's Split-Flow™ technology, which enhances thermal and flow performance by 30% compared to standard coldplates. It is designed to efficiently cool ultra-high wattage semiconductors, capturing over 97% of heat from a 4000W thermal test vehicle at a flow rate of 6 liters per minute. This performance aligns with the semiconductor industry's recommended flow rate for high-wattage chips.

CoolIT's coldplate also achieves an ultra-low thermal resistance of less than 0.009 C/W, while maintaining a full flow loop pressure drop of just 8 PSI. This makes it a reliable solution for cooling high-performance processors, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in demanding computing environments.
