cliexa and OpiSafe have announced a strategic partnership to create an AI powered behavioral health and opioid stewardship platform, according to a press release. The combined system is designed for healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies to identify opioid use risk, guide evidence based interventions, and streamline access to treatment services.

The platform integrates three main capabilities. It includes predictive analytics to identify patients at risk of opioid use disorder, patented opioid tapering management to support safe dose reduction, and referral coordination tools to connect patients with behavioral health and addiction treatment services. These functions operate within existing electronic medical record systems to support clinical workflows.

The collaboration combines cliexa’s clinical intelligence tools with OpiSafe’s opioid prescribing and monitoring technologies. The companies state that the unified system will help healthcare organizations automate documentation, improve compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and expand access to behavioral health care.
