Cheche Group has launched ABAO Agent Family, a set of five AI agents for new energy vehicle insurance in China, the company announced in a press release.

The agents are built on Cheche's proprietary vertical insurance large language model. Two are for external users: a claims companion for vehicle owners and an underwriting and pricing tool for insurance carriers.

The claims agent automates first notice of loss, damage assessment, and claims status updates through vehicle cockpit systems, customer service hotlines, and OEM mobile apps. Cheche said the platform is live with Volkswagen Anhui and Avatr, and integrated with PICC, Ping An, and China Pacific Insurance.

The underwriting and pricing agent lets carrier staff request vehicle risk analysis through a natural language interface using an order number, license plate, or VIN. Cheche said its pricing model uses more than 200 risk factors and is deployed in more than 100 cities in China.

The other three agents are used inside Cheche for customer service quality control, settlement follow up, and carrier settlement document processing. Cheche said settlement workflow efficiency increased by 30 percent and overall settlement processing efficiency increased by 50 percent without added headcount.
