CharterUP Partners with HOLON to Deploy Autonomous Shuttles Across Its Network
CharterUP has announced a partnership with HOLON to integrate autonomous shuttles into its AI-enabled transportation network, according to a press release. The collaboration will combine HOLON’s autonomous mobility technology with CharterUP’s nationwide network and deployment expertise to provide organizations with a scalable pathway to adopt autonomous transit systems.
Under the agreement, CharterUP will deploy HOLON’s purpose-built, Level 4 autonomous shuttles within its existing mobility operations across campuses, airports, transit agencies, and community environments. The partnership enables institutions to pilot and transition to autonomous services while maintaining existing transportation frameworks.
HOLON’s electric shuttles are designed for shared public transport, accommodating up to 15 passengers and equipped with lidar, radar, and cameras. The vehicles are ADA-compliant, zero-emission, and capable of operating on fixed or on-demand routes at speeds up to 37 mph.
Through this collaboration, CharterUP will serve as the exclusive partner for defined deployment scenarios, supporting customers from pilot programs to full-scale autonomous operations as regulatory and safety frameworks evolve.
