CGI Expands Global Partnership with OpenAI to Advance Codex Adoption
CGI has expanded its global partnership with OpenAI to accelerate enterprise adoption of the Codex AI platform, announced in a press release. The collaboration focuses on helping organizations use Codex to design, build, and manage digital solutions through natural language interfaces.
CGI now joins a select group of partners with early access to OpenAI's latest Codex capabilities. The company said that tens of thousands of its engineers and consultants already use OpenAI technologies to automate tasks, enhance workflows, and accelerate software delivery across government, public safety, and commercial sectors.
OpenAI Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser said Codex is becoming a central workspace for managing AI agents in software development and business workflows. CGI’s experience in large scale software transformation will support enterprises in applying Codex to areas such as code modernization, review automation, vulnerability detection, and application development.
Through the expanded alliance, CGI will increase its global and regional innovation programs and training initiatives in collaboration with OpenAI. The company also plans to extend joint go to market strategies to bring Codex capabilities to more organizations worldwide.
