Cato Networks has introduced Cato Autonomous Policies, an AI-powered policy analysis engine for its SASE Cloud Platform, enhancing security operations by optimizing policies and reducing risks.

Cato Networks has announced the launch of Cato Autonomous Policies, an AI-driven policy analysis engine integrated into its SASE Cloud Platform, announced in a press release. This new capability is designed to optimize security, access, and network policies, aiming to reduce risks and simplify compliance for enterprises.

The first application of Cato Autonomous Policies is in Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), addressing the issue of firewall rule bloat. By leveraging AI, Cato aims to eliminate outdated and misconfigured policies, thereby enhancing security and operational efficiency. The engine provides real-time zero-trust enforcement and continuously adapts to evolving threats and compliance requirements.

Cato Autonomous Policies is now generally available as a native feature of the Cato SASE Cloud Platform, offering enterprises AI-driven recommendations to improve their security posture without additional setup or costs.
