Bruno Dumont Makes The End Entirely With Generative AI

Bruno Dumont completed production of The End entirely with generative AI, without actors or a traditional film crew, according to Screen Daily. The English language science fiction thriller is planned for a festival run and theatrical release in 2027.

The film follows an ambitious Los Angeles police officer investigating a crime as earthquakes and falling asteroids engulf the city. Its story moves between Los Angeles and the Joshua Tree desert.

Dumont generated the images, performances and sound from his home in Paris. He worked scene by scene from his own shot plans, giving the AI instructions and refining the virtual actors, sets, vehicles, costumes and hairstyles.

Dumont wrote the screenplay more than 25 years ago but shelved it because its disaster sequences were too expensive to produce. He began the AI production in August and is producing the film independently, with no sales agent attached.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
