Azio AI Joins Early Discussions on Philippines’ Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Azio AI has begun participating in technical discussions to support the Philippines' modernization of its sovereign investment platform, including the Maharlika Investment Fund, as the country evaluates AI and data-center infrastructure for national development.

Azio AI has begun participating in early-stage technical and infrastructure discussions to support the Philippines’ plan to modernize its sovereign investment platform, including the Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) and the Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC), announced in a press release.

The initiative follows President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to restructure the MIF, launching a 2024–2025 planning cycle focused on governance reform and long-term development. Philippine policymakers are assessing artificial intelligence compute capacity, data-center infrastructure, and sovereign digital systems as components of future economic competitiveness.

Azio AI is engaged in non-binding discussions to assist with evaluating GPU-based AI data centers and sovereign compute architectures. The company, a certified distributor of Supermicro and NVIDIA platforms, plans to support public-sector stakeholders with data-center design and phased deployment planning.

Azio AI will continue providing technical evaluations and modeling as Philippine authorities move toward their 2025 restructuring goals for the Maharlika Investment Fund. Any commercial agreements will depend on future regulatory approvals and corporate governance processes.
