Avenda Health's Unfold AI Added to Medicare Fee Schedule Across Western States

April 23, 2026
Avenda Health announced that its Unfold AI platform is now included in Medicare Physician Fee Schedules across several Western and Mountain West states, expanding access to AI-guided prostate cancer care in physician office settings.

Avenda Health announced in a press release that its Unfold AI platform has been added to Medicare's Physician Fee Schedules across the West Coast and Mountain West regions. The inclusion enables reimbursement for use of the AI-guided prostate cancer mapping and clinical decision support platform in physician office settings in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

The update allows urologists and care teams in these states to integrate Unfold AI into routine practice with clearer payment pathways. The platform creates a personalized three-dimensional cancer map using patient data such as imaging, biopsy, and bloodwork results to assist physicians in treatment planning.

Unfold AI received FDA clearance and has shown improved diagnostic accuracy in peer-reviewed studies. It was the first AI urology tool to obtain a Category III CPT code from the American Medical Association in 2024 and began receiving Medicare reimbursement in 2025 for hospital outpatient settings. The new expansion extends that reimbursement to office-based care providers.
