Avenda Health Brings Unfold AI Maps Into Prostate Surgery

Oct 21, 2026
Avenda Health introduces Surgery Mode for Unfold AI, giving surgeons access to patient specific prostate cancer maps and risk scores during procedures.

Avenda Health announced in a press release Surgery Mode, a set of intraoperative features for its Unfold AI prostate cancer mapping platform. The update brings patient specific 3D cancer maps into robotic and conventional prostate procedures.

Surgeons can enlarge 3D views, adjust maps to match the surgical camera angle, review underlying MRI slices and access capsule risk scores during a procedure. The Capsule Risk Score map automatically flips its left and right orientation to match the camera view and provides color coded risk information by prostate quadrant to support nerve sparing decisions.

Unfold AI combines MRI, biopsy, pathology and PSA data to estimate the location and extent of cancer. The update also adds patient filters, case status labels, notes, physician assignment controls and tools for verifying insurance approvals before generating a 3D map.
