Assort Health Secures $26 Million to Enhance AI Platform for Patient Calls

Assort Health has raised $26 million to expand its AI platform for managing patient phone calls, aiming to improve healthcare access by reducing hold times and scheduling errors.

Assort Health has secured $26 million in funding to expand its specialty-specific generative AI platform for managing patient phone calls, announced in a press release. The funding round was co-led by First Round Capital and Chemistry, with participation from existing investor Quiet Capital.

The platform, which integrates with electronic health record systems, aims to eliminate lengthy hold times and scheduling inefficiencies in healthcare organizations. Assort Health's AI-powered voice agents have already demonstrated significant improvements, reducing hold times from 11 minutes to one minute and achieving a 99% scheduling accuracy rate.

Since its launch in 2023, Assort Health has managed millions of calls annually for thousands of providers, achieving an average patient satisfaction rating of 4.6 out of 5. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand its team, particularly in engineering roles.
