Apple Health Adds Health Age and Readiness Scores
Apple Inc. announced in a press release a redesigned Health app that uses Apple Intelligence to summarize health data and provide personalized guidance. The app adds Insights and Longevity tabs, along with Health Age and readiness scores.
Health Age compares metrics such as cardiovascular fitness, sleep and blood biomarkers with a user's chronological age. The readiness feature analyzes recent activity, vital signs and sleep to produce a daily score from 0 to 10, with recommendations including Recover, Pace Yourself, Ready or Go For It.
Users can add laboratory results to the app, including data from a 50 biomarker panel offered through Quest Diagnostics for $119. The updated Health app will roll out later in 2026, initially in US English.
