Anthropic is combining Claude Cowork and chat in one interface, alongside new tools for creating documents and presentations.

Anthropic announced on its website that Claude Cowork and chat are merging into one Claude interface. Claude will determine what a task requires, giving users access to Cowork capabilities, context, skills, and connectors from any conversation.

The company also introduced Claude Docs and Claude Slides in beta. Users can create and edit documents or presentations within Claude, present slides directly, and export files as PowerPoint or PDF. Claude Design now works inside conversations, while its separate version remains available.

The combined interface is rolling out to Pro and Max subscribers across web, desktop, and mobile over the next few weeks. Team and Free plans will follow. Enterprise administrators will receive at least 30 days notice before changes reach their organizations.
