Ando Raises $4 Million to Expand AI Scheduling Platform for Hourly Workers

San Francisco-based Ando has raised $4 million in seed funding to expand its AI forecasting and scheduling platform for hourly workers, announced in a press release. The round was led by Slow Ventures, with participation from Blitzscaling Ventures, Zero Capital, Monochrome, Gaingels, Mana Ventures, Fireroad, and other investors.

The funding will support Ando’s efforts to scale its AI infrastructure designed to better match labor supply with real-time demand. The company’s platform forecasts workforce needs for each location and helps managers create schedules that account for employees’ availability, preferences, and constraints. Ando reports achieving over 90% daily demand accuracy and full retention among its enterprise customers.

Ando’s technology aims to reduce turnover and labor inefficiencies in industries heavily reliant on hourly workers. The company plans to extend its forecasting capabilities to 15-minute increments and continue expanding its enterprise deployments.
