Akamai Technologies has announced a strategic agreement with Seraphic Security to integrate secure enterprise browser (SEB) capabilities into its existing Zero Trust security products, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to provide a streamlined and cost-effective solution that combines enterprise browser technology with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

The partnership allows Akamai to enhance its security service edge (SSE) offerings by integrating Seraphic's secure enterprise browser with its ZTNA product, Enterprise Application Access. This integration is designed to offer comprehensive security solutions that cover traditional SSE use cases, providing precise access controls and intelligent browser-level protection.

Akamai's global network will support the partnership, ensuring optimal user experience regardless of location. The solution includes installation-free device posture checks and improved data loss prevention for private application access, simplifying security management with a unified policy and dashboard for monitoring and visibility. Akamai will offer both the combined solution and stand-alone components to its customers and partners.
