ZeroEyes and Advantech have partnered to enhance campus security at Delaware State University (DSU) by integrating ZeroEyes' AI gun detection technology into the university's existing security systems. Announced in a press release, this collaboration aims to bolster safety measures by identifying potential gun-related threats before they escalate.

The deployment of ZeroEyes' technology was facilitated by Advantech, a leader in security systems integration. The AI gun detection platform is designed to work with DSU's existing digital security cameras, providing real-time alerts to the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC) if a gun is detected. The ZOC, staffed by trained military and law enforcement veterans, verifies threats and dispatches alerts to local law enforcement and school administrators within seconds.

This initiative is part of DSU's comprehensive security strategy, which includes visitor management systems, license plate readers, and reinforced access control points. The integration of ZeroEyes' technology is expected to enhance the university's ability to proactively address potential threats and ensure a rapid response to incidents, thereby improving overall campus safety.
