XGRIDS Introduces AI-Powered Scan-to-BIM Plugin for Revit

XGRIDS has launched the LCC for Revit plugin at Autodesk DevCon Europe 2025, integrating AI-driven 3D Gaussian Splatting technology to enhance scan-to-BIM processes.

XGRIDS has launched its new AI-powered plugin, LCC for Revit, at Autodesk DevCon Europe 2025. Announced in a press release, this plugin integrates 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) technology with Autodesk Revit, offering significant efficiency improvements in scan-to-BIM processes.

The LCC for Revit plugin, developed in collaboration with Autodesk, automates the creation of building elements such as walls, doors, and windows directly in Revit. This is achieved by connecting Revit with XGRIDS' LCC models, which utilize LiDAR and visual data captured by XGRIDS' Lixel mobile scanning devices. The AI-driven solution promises to cut modeling time by 70-90% while maintaining centimeter-level accuracy.

Key features of the plugin include real-time integration for instant BIM model updates, AI-assisted modeling for automated creation of building components, and semantic point cloud visualization for verification. The LCC for Revit plugin will be available on the Autodesk App Store by the end of May 2025, supporting Revit 2025 and later versions.
