Dynamic Infrastructure Deploys AI for Flood Management

August 12, 2025
Dynamic Infrastructure has launched its Engineering AI platform across the U.S. to help local agencies prioritize culvert and pipe maintenance, enhancing flood resilience.

Dynamic Infrastructure has announced the deployment of its Engineering AI platform across the United States, aimed at improving flood and water management. The platform, known as the Virtual Assistant Engineer, is designed to assist local agencies in assessing the condition of thousands of culverts and pipes, enabling them to prioritize maintenance efforts within limited budgets. This initiative is expected to enhance flood resilience and reduce emergency failures announced in a press release.

The Engineering AI platform addresses challenges faced by local governments, such as extensive backlogs and fragmented records related to small drainage assets. By transforming dispersed data, including historic inspections and GIS inputs, into actionable insights, the platform provides a budget-aware analysis that counties can execute efficiently. The system offers network triage at scale, budget-aware prioritization, and evidence automation, which are crucial for generating solid evidence for FEMA and state funding after natural disasters.

Saar Dickman, CEO of Dynamic Infrastructure, emphasized the platform's ability to convert scattered data into a prioritized plan that local teams can defend to boards and execute within budget. This deployment marks a significant step in leveraging AI to optimize infrastructure management and enhance community safety.
