XDOF Nears Series B at $1.2 Billion Valuation

XDOF is in talks at a late stage to raise a Series B at a valuation of about $1.2 billion, with 8VC expected to lead the round, according to Dealroom. The total amount and whether the valuation includes the new capital remain unclear, and the terms could change.

XDOF closed a $70 million Series A in June and emerged from stealth less than three months ago. Its annualized revenue is approaching $50 million, and it works with 20 customers, including several major AI labs.

Founded in 2024 by UC Berkeley researchers Philipp Wu and Fred Shentu, XDOF collects real world teleoperation and human movement data for training general purpose robots. It also builds data pipelines, collection tools, and annotation systems for AI labs and robotics companies.
