xAI Introduces Memory Feature for Grok Chatbot
xAI has introduced a new memory feature for its Grok chatbot, enabling it to remember details from past user interactions. This feature aims to enhance the personalization of responses, similar to capabilities already present in competitors like ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
The memory feature allows Grok to provide more tailored recommendations and advice by learning user preferences over time. Users can view and manage what Grok remembers, with options to delete specific memories or disable the feature entirely via the Data Controls page in the settings menu.
Currently available in beta on Grok.com and the Grok iOS and Android apps, the memory feature is not yet accessible to users in the EU or U.K. xAI is also working on integrating this feature into the Grok experience on X.
