World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo Opens in Nanchang

The 2025 World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo and China Green Food Expo opened in Nanchang, attracting over 2,500 exhibitors and featuring sectors such as new energy and artificial intelligence.

The 2025 World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo and China Green Food Expo opened Thursday in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, announced in a press release. The event attracted more than 2,500 exhibitors, 900 purchasing agents, and 300 investors from 68 countries and regions. Organizers reported that 66 projects worth 45 billion yuan have been signed during the expo.

Covering about 45,000 square meters, the exhibition features six major sections focused on green industries and international exchanges. It highlights emerging sectors including new energy, artificial intelligence, and the low-altitude economy. Seventeen thematic economic and trade events are being held to facilitate targeted business matching.

Hosted by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, the expo operates under the theme "Digital Intelligence For a Green Future, Open Jiangxi For a Shared World." Since its inception in 2009, the event has evolved into a key international platform for green development and economic cooperation. Jiangxi, as China's only pilot zone for both national ecological civilization experimentation and ecological product value realization, has achieved notable progress in carbon market and emissions trading reforms.
