Wesco Modernizes Accounts Payable with Genpact's AI Solutions
Wesco has modernized its accounts payable operations with the Genpact AP Suite, announced in a press release. This collaboration with Genpact has enabled Wesco to enhance accuracy and efficiency in its finance operations by leveraging agentic AI solutions.
The partnership, which began four years ago, has led to the standardization and automation of Wesco's AP workflows on a unified platform. This transformation has resulted in 40% of Wesco's over 3 million annual invoices being processed without human intervention. The Genpact AP Suite includes specialized AI agents for tasks such as data extraction and exception handling, which have reduced manual workloads and improved invoice processing accuracy.
Wesco's adoption of Genpact's technology has not only improved operational efficiency but also provided real-time visibility into process health through advanced dashboards. This initiative underscores the evolving role of accounts payable as a critical component of enterprise AI, moving beyond traditional back-office functions to become a front-line driver of business agility and innovation.
