WeRide and Uber Expand Autonomous Vehicle Partnership to 15 More Cities
WeRide and Uber have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership to introduce autonomous vehicles in 15 additional cities globally over the next five years, announced in a press release. This expansion follows successful launches in Abu Dhabi and soon in Dubai, with plans to extend services to cities outside the US and China.
In these new locations, WeRide's Robotaxi services will be accessible through the Uber app, with Uber managing fleet operations. The collaboration aims to accelerate the global adoption of autonomous mobility, leveraging Uber's extensive platform and WeRide's advanced autonomous driving technology.
