Versa Introduces MCP Server for Enhanced AI Integration
Versa has launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, a new utility designed to enhance AI integration in network and security operations. The MCP Server allows large language model (LLM) powered assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot to securely query Versa systems through Versa APIs, as announced on their website.
The MCP Server aims to streamline operations for network and security teams by providing a unified API layer. This allows for seamless access to data across the Versa platform, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools and consoles. Key features include comprehensive API coverage, real-time monitoring integration, and workflow efficiency, enabling teams to quickly resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
The solution is already in use with customers and will be showcased at the RSA Conference 2025. Available under an open-source license, the MCP Server can be integrated into existing workflows, offering customizable login options and flexible resource targeting.
