Veridue Raises $4 Million for AI Energy Due Diligence
London based Veridue raised $4 million in pre seed funding, according to EU Startups. Episode 1 Ventures led the round, with participation from HTGF, Pi Labs, Cameron Hepburn and Jeremy Palmer.
Founded in 2024 by Daniel Csonth and Xander van den Eelaart, Veridue provides an AI platform for due diligence and mergers and acquisitions in renewable energy and data centre deals. It covers deal sourcing, screening, data rooms, project analysis, due diligence and investment committee memos.
The system combines AI models, an agent layer and review by energy transaction specialists. Veridue says it can produce due diligence reports and information request lists within hours rather than weeks. The company will use the funding to roll out and expand the platform.
