V2X Wins $425 Million Contract to Upgrade F-16 Cockpits for U.S. Air Force

V2X, Inc. has been awarded a 10-year, $425 million contract to modernize and upgrade cockpit displays for the U.S. Air Force’s F-16 fleet, with work to be completed by 2035 at its Indianapolis facility.

V2X, Inc. has been awarded a 10-year, $425 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to modernize and upgrade cockpit displays for the U.S. Air Force’s F-16 fighter jets, announced in a press release. The project includes providing center display unit kits, line-replaceable units, shop-replaceable units, and related support hardware.

According to V2X, the modernization will enhance operational effectiveness while reducing lifecycle costs through a cost-efficient technology insertion approach that minimizes retrofit requirements. The contract represents the company’s largest award for the F-16 center display unit program to date.

Work under the agreement will be carried out at V2X’s facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by September 2035.
