Univfy's AI Platform Outperforms US Registry in IVF Predictions

Univfy has published a study in Nature Communications validating its AI platform's superior performance in predicting IVF live birth outcomes compared to US national registry models, announced in a press release. The study demonstrated that Univfy's models significantly improved prediction metrics, such as the F1 score and precision-recall area-under-the-curve (PR AUC), which are crucial for minimizing false positives and negatives.

The research analyzed data from 4,645 patients across six centers, revealing that Univfy's models correctly predicted that 76% of patients had a first-cycle IVF live birth probability of 50% or greater. Notably, 23% of these patients were given lower probabilities by the US national registry model. Additionally, Univfy accurately identified 11% of patients with a live birth probability of 75% or higher, a feat the registry model failed to achieve.

This study marks a significant milestone in validating the Univfy AI/ML Platform's potential to enhance economic solutions like value-based IVF care, thereby improving access and affordability for patients. The platform's success underscores the importance of using locally validated AI-powered solutions in real-world clinical settings.
