Ubiety and Ivani Integrate AI and RF Sensing in Halo Connect
Ubiety Technologies and Ivani have announced the integration of AI-powered presence verification and radio frequency (RF) activity sensing in the Halo Connect device, announced in a press release. This collaboration marks the first commercial integration of these technologies in a single plug-and-play device.
The Halo Connect device combines signal intelligence from Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular networks with Ivani's sensify technology for advanced activity detection. This dual-layer presence detection system enhances home awareness by confirming both the presence of individuals and ongoing activities without the need for cameras or expensive panel integrations.
Ubiety's CEO, Keith Puckett, emphasized the leap forward this integration represents in providing real-time context for consumers and security providers. Ivani's CEO, Justin McKinney, highlighted the scalability of their sensify technology, which leverages existing infrastructure to deliver powerful sensing capabilities.
The Halo Connect device is designed to be a scalable platform, allowing for future improvements through over-the-air updates, ensuring it remains a leading solution in presence sensing technology.
