TraceLink Launches OPUS Agents for AI-Driven Supply Chain Execution

April 14, 2026
TraceLink has introduced OPUS Agents, no-code enterprise AI agents that operate across supply networks to automate and coordinate supply chain processes under human governance.

Supply chain software company TraceLink has launched OPUS Agents, a suite of no-code enterprise AI agents designed to execute tasks across entire supply networks, announced in a press release. The company described the system as part of a new model called the Agentic Business Network, where governed AI agents work alongside human teams to manage operations across global trading partners.

Built on TraceLink’s OPUS Platform, OPUS Agents can perform functions such as validating invoices, managing purchase orders, and resolving exceptions directly within live network processes. The agents operate under strict governance, with defined roles, permissions, and audit trails to meet compliance and regulatory standards in life sciences and healthcare supply chains.

Using a no-code “say and see” interface, users can create agents by describing their intent, objectives, tasks, and rules in natural language. These agents act as permissioned digital participants, supporting continuous coordination among manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics providers.

TraceLink has also introduced an Exclusive Access Program to work with select customers on implementing OPUS Agents in areas like order-to-cash orchestration and supply disruption response. The company’s existing network of over 300,000 authenticated organizations provides the foundation for deploying these governed AI workforces at scale.
