Operata Adds Observability for AI and Human Customer Service Agents

Operata introduced expanded CX AI Agent Observability to record AI and human customer service interactions in one customer journey and provide evidence for enterprise governance processes.

Operata introduced expanded CX AI Agent Observability for customer experience teams, announced in a press release.

The product records each AI interaction on the same customer journey as the human agent it hands off to. Operata said the system measures AI and human agents against the same standards across voice AI, CX AI, CCaaS, CRM, CPaaS, tool calls, transfers, networks, and human agent workflows.

Operata said its platform sits outside the customer experience stack it measures. It normalizes metrics, traces, and logs from connected services into one record of the interaction, including issues such as slow responses from downstream APIs called by an AI system.

The release also provides evidence for enterprise governance processes, including what the AI heard, what it decided, where a handoff happened, whether context carried through, and whether a disclosure was audible to the customer. CX AI Agent Observability is available now across Operata supported platforms, with platform verification available on request for customers and partners.
