Sword Group Acquires iDelta to Boost Cybersecurity and AI

Sword Group has acquired iDelta, a cybersecurity and observability data specialist based in Edinburgh, to enhance its capabilities in cybersecurity and AI, particularly in the financial services sector.

Sword Group has acquired iDelta, a cybersecurity and observability data specialist based in Edinburgh, as announced in a press release. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance Sword Group's capabilities in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.

iDelta specializes in delivering bespoke data and AI solutions, cybersecurity monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and application observability. The company has also developed tools for managing Open Banking data APIs and offers add-ons available on the Splunk marketplace, facilitating seamless integration with third-party technologies.

The acquisition is expected to significantly bolster Sword Group's cybersecurity strategy, with iDelta's operations being consolidated into Sword Group's accounts from April 1, 2025. iDelta's annual revenue trend is approximately €0.75 million, with an EBITDA margin of 30%.
