StackHawk has raised $12 million in strategic funding from Sapphire and Costanoa Ventures to bolster its API security platform, announced in a press release. This funding aims to help security teams keep pace with the rapid advancements in AI-driven development, particularly in data-sensitive industries like healthcare and fintech.
The additional capital will expedite the delivery of new products and features designed to assist engineering teams in identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities during the development stage. This is crucial as developers increasingly deploy code faster with AI tools, which can lead to security weaknesses if not properly managed.
StackHawk's platform is recognized for its ability to empower developers to find and fix security issues before they reach production, ensuring a robust security posture in the age of AI. The company has been acknowledged as an outstanding API security platform by the Global Infosec Awards at RSA 2025, highlighting its innovative approach to API security testing.
