Zip Security has raised $13.5 million in Series A funding, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Ballistic Ventures, with participation from Silver Buckshot, Mantis VC, and others, bringing the company's total funding to $21 million.

Founded by former Palantir engineers, Zip Security aims to address the cybersecurity needs of businesses without dedicated security teams. The platform leverages AI and automation to streamline security operations, including endpoint protection and compliance workflows, making it accessible and cost-effective for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The new funding will be used to expand Zip's engineering and market presence, as well as to build new integrations with third-party tools. Zip Security's platform integrates with major security services providers like CrowdStrike, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Intune, among others.
