Spyne Secures $16M Series A Funding to Expand AI Platform
Spyne, an AI-powered visual merchandising platform for the automotive industry, has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round led by Vertex Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors such as Accel, Storm Ventures, and Alteria Capital, who increased their investments in the startup announced on their website.
The newly acquired funds will be used to expand Spyne's presence in the U.S., increasing its dealer base from 1,500 to over 20,000 rooftops over the next few years. Additionally, the company plans to enhance its AI-powered platform and broaden its technology infrastructure to enter new international markets, including high-growth regions across EMEA and APAC.
Spyne is also working on evolving its platform beyond visual merchandising to develop a unified GenAI and LLM-powered Automotive Retail Suite. This comprehensive solution aims to empower dealerships by addressing various aspects of their retail journey, from vehicle sourcing and pricing to digitization and AI-driven customer management.
Sanjay Varnwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Spyne, highlighted the significance of this investment as a pivotal moment for the company, enabling them to accelerate U.S. expansion and redefine automotive retail with AI. The funding will also support the establishment of a dedicated U.S. business development team to strengthen Spyne's brand presence and foster deeper connections with dealerships and marketplaces.
