Spotify Expands AI-Narrated Audiobooks with ElevenLabs Partnership

Spotify has partnered with ElevenLabs to enhance its AI-narrated audiobook offerings, allowing authors to use ElevenLabs' voice technology to create audiobooks in 29 languages.

Spotify has partnered with ElevenLabs to expand its library of AI-narrated audiobooks, announced on their website. This collaboration allows authors to use ElevenLabs' AI voice technology to create audiobooks in 29 languages, providing a cost-effective solution for high-quality narration.

Authors can create their audiobooks using ElevenLabs, download the file package, and upload it to Findaway Voices, Spotify's audiobook distribution service. After a standard review process, these audiobooks will be available on Spotify and other retailers that accept digital voice-narrated titles.

Spotify clearly labels AI-narrated titles in the metadata, ensuring listeners are aware of the digital narration. This partnership follows Spotify's previous collaboration with Google Play Books for AI-narrated content, as the company continues to expand its audiobook offerings.
