Sonata Software Secures $73 Million AI Modernization Deal
Sonata Software has announced a significant $73 million, five-year engagement with a major US-based company in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sector, announced in a press release. This strategic partnership aims to enhance global scalability, accelerate innovation, and optimize IT operations through an AI-first outsourcing model.
Under this agreement, Sonata will establish a dedicated AI-enabled Modernization Engineering Center in India. The initiative will focus on platform engineering, cloud transformation using Amazon Cloud, enterprise systems like Salesforce and Workday, cybersecurity, data services, and modern application development. These efforts will be supported by automation and scalable engineering practices.
Sonata's CEO, Samir Dhir, highlighted that this is the second-largest deal in the company's history, marking a proud milestone for the team. The partnership is expected to empower the client with enhanced operational efficiency, faster innovation cycles, and the agility to scale across geographies.
