
Sivers Semiconductors to Develop 28GHz Antenna Module for aiRadar
Sivers Semiconductors has secured a contract from aiRadar to develop an advanced 28GHz antenna module. This project will utilize Sivers' TRX BF02 beamforming transceiver chip, known for its high performance in both telecom and radar applications, announced in a press release.
The collaboration aims to enhance aiRadar's radar systems, particularly for defense applications such as high-performance drone platforms. The TRX BF02 chip supports a frequency range from 24.0 GHz to 29.5 GHz and features a 16TX+16RX channel beamforming transceiver, making it suitable for scalable, high-performance radar deployments.
Sivers' expertise in RFIC design will be combined with aiRadar's advanced signal processing capabilities to deliver a compact, high-resolution radar solution. This partnership highlights the adaptability of Sivers' technology beyond traditional telecom applications, pushing the boundaries of modern radar systems.
