SiMa.ai Wins 2026 Edge AI Product of the Year for Modalix SoM

SiMa.ai has received the 2026 Product of the Year Award from the Edge AI and Vision Alliance for its Modalix MLSoC System on Module, recognized as the Best Edge AI Board for delivering high performance and efficiency in power-constrained environments.

SiMa.ai has been named the winner of the "Best Edge AI Board" award by the Edge AI and Vision Alliance's 2026 Product of the Year Awards, according to a press release.

The award recognizes SiMa.ai's Modalix MLSoC System on Module, which supports generative AI, computer vision, and machine learning inference at the edge. The module integrates Arm-based compute, advanced vision processing, and high-bandwidth I/O into a compact, low-power design that operates below 10 watts.

Launched in 2025, Modalix enables customers to modernize existing systems without major hardware changes. It allows AI processing closer to the data source, reducing the need for high-power GPU hardware. The system supports applications such as industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent video analytics.

SiMa.ai's platform combines the Modalix hardware with its Palette software suite to support a range of use cases from perception to reasoning-based analytics. The company focuses on scaling Physical AI across sectors including automotive, aerospace, healthcare, and industrial automation.
