Salute Agrees to Acquire T5 Operations

Salute has agreed to acquire T5 Operations, a data center operations unit of T5 Data Centers, in a deal that would expand its management footprint to more than 15 GW across over 150 markets.

Salute announced in a press release that it has entered a definitive agreement to acquire T5 Operations, part of the Services business of T5 Data Centers.

The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Salute said the acquisition would add T5 Operations' facility management, operations, commissioning, training, safety, and technical operations experience to its data center services business.

After closing, Salute said it would manage more than 15 GW of data center capacity across over 150 markets globally. The company also said its workforce would increase to more than 3,800 employees.

T5 Data Centers Chairman and CEO Pete Marin will join Salute's board as part of the acquisition. David Mettler, Executive Vice President of T5 Operations, will join Salute's executive leadership team. Separately, T5 Construction has become EverOn Data Center Services, an independent data center construction company.
