QpiAI has announced the launch of India's most powerful quantum computer, the 25-qubit Indus Quantum Computer, with plans to expand to larger systems in the coming years.

QpiAI has announced the launch of India's most powerful quantum computer, the 25-qubit Indus Quantum Computer, announced in a press release. The company has outlined a roadmap to expand its quantum computing capabilities to 64 qubits by 2025, 128 qubits by 2027, and 1000 qubits by 2028, with applications in scientific research, simulations, healthcare, and education.

QpiAI's future plans include developing fault-tolerant quantum computers with error correction for commercial applications. The company aims to introduce its first superconducting logical qubit by 2026, followed by a 5-logical-qubit system by 2027, and a 100-logical-qubit system by 2030. These advancements are expected to drive breakthroughs in sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, materials, cybersecurity, and finance.

The 25-qubit Indus Quantum Computer will be accessible to customers via QpiAI's private datacenters and public cloud. The company also plans to offer its datacenter module, integrating quantum and HPC racks, networking switches, and software stacks, to datacenter players looking to incorporate quantum capabilities.
