
Blaize Secures $56M for Edge AI Deployment in Southeast Asia
Blaize has announced a significant $56 million contract to deploy its edge AI platform across more than 250,000 intelligent surveillance endpoints in Southeast Asia. The deployment, set to begin in Q2 2025 and continue through 2026, aims to transform real-time smart infrastructure across the region. announced in a press release, this initiative will support urban infrastructure, traffic monitoring, and public safety applications.
The deployment will leverage Blaize's Graph Streaming Processor (GSP) and multimodal inference architecture, enabling efficient and scalable analytics. The hybrid AI architecture will facilitate seamless coordination between edge inference and centralized analytics, crucial for dynamic urban environments. Initial revenue of $6 million is expected to be recognized in Q2 and Q3 of fiscal 2025.
Blaize's systems will power core smart infrastructure use cases, including traffic management, license plate recognition, and multimodal sensor fusion at the edge. This deployment marks a pivotal milestone in the adoption of real-world AI, reflecting the strength of Blaize's technology and its approach to hybrid AI at the physical edge.
