Data Center Infrastructure Sees 17% Growth in Q1 2025
The Data Center Physical Infrastructure (DCPI) market experienced a 17% year-over-year growth in the first quarter of 2025, driven by the increasing demand for AI workloads, announced in a press release by Dell'Oro Group. This marks the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, with hyperscalers and colocation providers expanding capacity to meet AI demands.
Schneider Electric and Vertiv are nearly tied for global market share, separated by just a tenth of a percentage point. North America led regional growth with a 23% increase, while EMEA and China saw growth in the low teens, partly due to currency appreciation.
The report highlights the rapid adoption of liquid cooling, with revenue more than doubling in Q1 2025, and the power distribution segment growing over 40% year-over-year. Vendors like Eaton, Legrand, Siemens, and Vertiv have increased capacity to meet the demand for scalable power architectures.
Dell'Oro Group provides comprehensive insights into the DCPI market, covering various segments such as uninterruptible power supplies, thermal management, and power distribution systems.
