Planera Raises $8 Million to Expand Data Center Scheduling Platform
Planera has raised $8 million in new funding to accelerate its expansion in the data center construction market, announced in a press release. The latest round brings the company’s total funding to $26.5 million and follows its Series A in 2024.
The company reported a 600% increase in data center projects over the past six months and introduced a specialized service offering for contractors and subcontractors. Planera’s platform is being used by major builders including HITT Contracting, Ralph L. Wadsworth, and Ryan Companies to improve scheduling visibility and accelerate project delivery.
Planera has also developed new AI tools to help customers detect potential project delays and optimize construction timelines. The additional capital will support further adoption of these tools and the expansion of its dedicated data center services team.
Investors in the round include Sorenson Capital, Sierra Ventures, Prudence, Brick and Mortar Ventures, and Zachry Construction Corporation, along with other construction industry leaders.
